Changes made to shared mailbox domain reflected in Outlook desktop App

Looking at changing the domain for some shared mailboxes xxx@contoso > xxx@zonboso within the same Tenant but trying to lessen the effect \ issues with outlook desktop app,https://mobdro.bio/ https://kodi.bio/

I've done some testing but can't seem to find a way to get the changes to reflect in outlook desktop app without manually removing and re adding the shared mailbox,

Not sure if i'm not waiting long enough and it changes automagically after a set period (waited 24 Hours and reboot outlook a lot) ?
