Long story short, have a bunch of clients who were most likely setup wrong/improperly for 365/Azure. I'm just sick of it really, and not schooled in 365/Azure, so want to fix it as best as I can. And hoping someone can double check my thought process to make sure I don't blow up my clients.
From what I can tell, it seems to be tied to the fact that they have a .local domain tied to a Azure domain.
It seems like a potential simple fix to this all is to add their Azure domain as an alternative UPN within Domains and Trusts. Then all future new users should be created without a .onmicrosoft?
Followup, would changing all the UPN suffix's for existing users break anything? I feel like it would.
I'm sure more than half of my frustration with 365/Azure is tied to bad implementation, and I'd like to just make my life a little easier.
Can someone confirm this onmicrosoft fix?
