Outlook 365 for Windows Desktop calendar facelift since Version 2004

Has there been a finetuning of the calendar UI?
I have the distinct impression, that since Version 2004 a few widgets and colourings (e.g. the out-of-office pattern, the marker of the current time in the day etc) received an ever so slight facelift... which looks very nice and clean.
Am I imagining things, or did anyone else notice it too?
