Doubt about Office 365 Education sign up

Hello,
I'm a faculty staff member with an e-mail account eligible for the free version of Office 365 Education.
However, during the sign up process, there's the question "Are you a student or a teacher?".
Since I'm neither student nor teacher, can I really, legally, sign up?
If affirmative, could someone, please, provide a link to a license or official Microsoft text supporting it?
